Founders
Faquir Jain (Co-Founder & Scientific Advisor) is a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He has over 35 years of experience in design, modeling and fabrication of micro/opto-electronic devices, integrated circuits and multiple quantum-well light valves/modulators. Prof. Jain is a member of Connecticut Academy of Science & Engineering and serves as the Editor of the Connecticut Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Consortium. He has recently been promoted as fellow of SPIE.
Fotios Papadimitrakopoulos (Co-Founder & Scientific Advisor) is a Professor of Chemistry and Associate Director of the Institute of Materials Science at University of Connecticut. He has over 20 years of experience in the areas of polymers, nano/bio-systems and supramolecular assembly of nanostructures. Prof. Papadimitrakopoulos is a member of the Connecticut Academy of Science & Engineering and serves as Committee Member for the State of Connectictut Nanotechnology Advisory Committee as well as the Co-Founding Member of Connecticut Nanotechnology Initiative.
Team
Our team include experts in the areas of (i) marketing and product development; (ii) electrochemical biosensors; (iii) biomaterials for immune control; and (iv) electrical engineering. The team has a combined experience of more than 50 years of R&D with excess of 40 patents and 250 publications.
Our board of directors are well-acclaimed experts in various fields some of which include business development, clinical affairs, vascular surgery, pharmaceutics, electrochemistry and endocrinology.
