“Sixteen of the final 26 MassChallenge startups for 2015 were named winners at the accelerator’s 2015 awards ceremony Wednesday night, taking a share of $1.5 million in equity-free cash.
Four of the startups—Biorasis, Estrenon, Hyliion and Sanitation and Health Rights in India—took $100,000 each as MassChallenge’s top winners. The other 12 winners took away $50,000 each as part of the second tier.
What’s more, one startup from each of the two tiers—Biorasis from the $100,000 tier and LaunchPad Medical from the $50,000 tier—will also share an additional $500,000 from CASIS and Boeing for research projects on the International Space Station. The allocations for each startup will be determined based on their project proposals.”
